Our Logo: The Beaver
Like the cowboy and the cattle drive is to the western plains. Our logo: the Beaver, is a central figure of the fur trade that existed in America for centuries before market hunting all but wiped them out.
The territory Northwest of the Ohio River was abundant with these critters and both traders and trappers flocked to the Northwest territory in search for them. As history progressed and America expanded west and the beaver population reduced in the Northwest Territory and the fur trade moved to the Rocky Mountains. Blog posts
